Rick Bentham is of Irish-Canadian nationality and spent his early years in Canada. He is a graduate of the Vancouver college of art and also the University of Ontario where he made the deans honours list for the fine art program. Rick worked in Canada for a number of years before moving to Ireland in the eighties. Rick made a career for himself in animation and illustration, as well as painting, in both Ireland and Canada. Rick has had solo exhibitions in the kilcock gallery, Co. Kildare and also in numerous well known venues across the United States and Canada such as the St. Lawrence centre in Toronto and the New Artists presentations in Madison square gardens in New York
