Eileens works are a combination of layering different media to create space, atmosphere and light.

She uses pure colour pigments and pearlescent powders. This use of technique reflects her inspiration, which is gleaned from her frequent visits to the Atlantic coastline.

Light is reflected and absorbed by contrasting surfaces which echoes her interest and inspiration from the sculpted shoreline, weather and tide. The watercolours are Japanese in feel and have a transparent quality which enhances the sense of space.
