Catherine Barron studied Graphic Design at Dun Laoghaire School of Art and Design and worked as a free-lance illustrator before travelling and working abroad in America, London and Zimbabwe. She returned to Ireland in 1995 and has been painting full time since.
This versatile and prolific artist has held many solo exhibitions, most recently at the Bridge Gallery, Dublin in October 2006.
Catherine’s work can be seen in many public places, from Hotels and Hospitals, to Bars and Restaurants all over Ireland as well as America and Europe.
Her work has been acquired by both private and corporate collections, including the Bank of Ireland, Glanbia, The E.P.A. and the Department of Education
